1. Seller identity

These Terms of Sale govern purchases made from Kohasi, operated by Korytsia Hasikovska, NIE [NIE — replace before launch], with address at [Valencia address — replace before launch], Valencia, Spain. Contact: hello@kohasi.com.

2. The work

Every piece sold by Kohasi is an original handmade ceramic art object, made individually by the artist. Many works are one of one: the photographed piece is the piece you receive. Where a piece is part of a small series, slight variations in colour, surface, texture, and dimensions are inherent to the handmade process — they are characteristic of the work, not defects.

3. Prices and taxes

Prices shown are inclusive of Spanish IVA (VAT) where applicable. For EU buyers, VAT at the applicable rate is included or shown at checkout. Buyers outside the EU (including UK and US) are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes imposed by their country. We do not collect or remit non-EU taxes on your behalf.

4. Order process

An order is placed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation email. Because many pieces are one of one, we reserve the right to cancel an order if an item has been sold in parallel or if a pricing error occurred, in which case we will notify you and issue a full refund within 14 days.

5. Payment

Payment is processed at the time of order through the payment methods displayed at checkout. Transactions are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch in-stock pieces within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order or commissioned pieces take the time stated on the product page. Delivery times after dispatch are carrier estimates and may vary. Risk of loss or damage passes to you only when you take physical possession of the parcel.

7. Right of withdrawal (EU buyers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. To exercise this right, notify us at hello@kohasi.com within the 14-day period and return the piece within 14 days of notification. You bear the cost of return shipping. We refund the purchase price and original standard outbound shipping within 14 days of receiving the returned piece or proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier. Returned pieces must be unused and in original condition.

Exception for commissioned and personalised pieces. Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Art. 103(c) LGDCU), the withdrawal right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised — including commissioned vulva sculptures sculpted from life or from your photograph (the lono_project), custom-glazed pieces, or made-to-order works. Where this exception applies, we make it clear on the product page before checkout.

8. Damaged or defective on arrival

If a piece arrives damaged or defective, photograph the damage and the packaging and contact us within 48 hours at hello@kohasi.com. We will arrange a replacement (where possible — one-of-one pieces cannot be replaced) or a full refund at no cost to you. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For EU consumers, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply where they offer greater protection. Disputes may be referred to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr) or to your local consumer arbitration body.
